You would not want to do any normal a-b riding around town with the head strap on, over kill and impractical (and looking a bit silly). But unfortunately you have no choice as without the head strap, the things fall off your face anyway! They're unisex by design, but although I feel comfortable wearing them, I won't pretend that they don't look better on my girlfriend. The sunglasses rest comfortably on the bridge of the nose, and the arms are te best spectacles a clearer size guide. The largest size is suitable for an average sized mens head.

They look good and seem good quality for the price, however fit is a problem. While they cover my glasses, the fit is by no means snug to my face and there's a large gap between the glasses and my face which makes them look massive. It will be down to my frame style I guess, but worth noting. They'd certainly still protect my eyes from the sun, but would look quite bulky when wearing
