I've given a pair of these stylish and funky looking sunglasses to my girlfriend as a present. I went for the polarised red pair. The glasses are made from a lightweight, hard plastic, which feels pretty strong, with tinted mirror lenses. The metal hinges which attach the arms feel robustly made. The manufacturer claims that these sunglasses provide 100% UV protection, but I'm in no position to comme oakley frog skin ing the sliding down his nose that was the main problem. I didn't think the toggle would hold - I expected it to slide as it seemed loose but this hasn't happened - it stays where it is adjusted to, but still provides enough strength to prevent them from slipping. Because the strap is woven and fabric-like it doesn't pull at his hair the way rubbery swimming goggle type ones do - a big plus point when you're dealing with an ocassionally uncoperative child. We have had no problems with the strap coming off the arms of the glasses - it fits a bit like a Chinese oakley gascan nses clip into place easily but feel secure and do not dislodge with violent shaking. The frame is quite a large size so anyone with a head on the small side these may not be so suitable. The glasses come with 2 straps, a soft case for day use and a very high quality case for .
