Well as story-lines go, I suppose that a vampire out for revenge is a pretty good one, but the plot contains so many subplots and has SO many twists and turns that it really isn't surprising that by the time you finish the book you've forgotten the beginning (hence I had to read it twice!). I was pointed to this book by a friend. Typically i had found the Anne Rice vampire novels, to be good, but a little bland for my liking. Sunglasses, After Dark is a fantastically rich book, full of wonderfully descriptive, violent metaphors and anaologys. There is some very, very dark parts to the book and i would not recommend this book to the weak of stomach.
