A Bistro
‘Car Spa Bistro’—the name did get me thinking, was it a ‘car’ themed restaurant? But the word ‘spa’ in between was a bit intriguing.
Not any more though, I have understood that it is the ‘spa’ for cars where you take your vehicle to be washed and get other services too. And, while your car is being taken care of you can indulge yourself, as you wait, at their bistro with the delicious food they have on offer.
This indeed is a unique concept where a vehicle workshop offers a gourmet experience as well in the same premises. Perhaps Car Spa Bistro is the first of its kind in Kolkata. No waiting outside in the sunny, rainy or wintry weather while your car is being attended upon.

A new entrant in the F&B scene, Car Spa Bistro, located at 20/1B, East Topsia Road, Mirania Gardens, Kolkata, is a 55 seater bistro spread across 2000sq.ft (approximately). The interiors have an interesting look with recycled vehicle parts forming a part of their thematic design.
The seats, tables, wall décor all spell ‘CAR’ in big bold letters, though there are parts of other vehicles which find place amongst the décor elements. Very comfortable seating arrangements make it the ideal place to relax and enjoy a sip with eats…echoing what their tagline states—“We wash and wax while you dine and relax!”

Car Spa Bistro is open from 10.30 am to 9.30pm for car wash and detailing services while the Bistro operates from 1 pm to 12 am.
Roshni Roy, the owner of this bistro says, "Car wash and car detailing is much in demand as every car owner wishes to drive in a clean and an immaculately accessorised vehicle these days. And, whenever we go for any car servicing or even a basic car wash, it becomes extremely tiring and a monotonous exercise to sit down and wait.
"This café has been conceptualised with our clients in mind, who will now have a place to sit down and chill with a drink and food as their car takes a ‘spa’."

The spa offers for your vehicle premium services, while at the bistro there’s a well curated menu that caters to a varied palate… Roast Beetroot and Coconut Soup; Scallion Mash and Cheese Poppers; Amritsari Chole Hummus, Chicken Buffalo Wings; Chilli Garlic Prawns; Saffron and Cream Penne; Kosha Murgi Pizza; Kosha Mangsho Pizza; Roast Stuffed Chicken Breast; Deconstructed Gulab Jamun Cheesecake and of course a selected variety of desserts and drinks.
It is an exhaustive menu where continental has been given a twist. Their menu is interestingly designed where the cut out of a car lists the drinks and the food menu. My personal recommendation would be Chicken Buffalo Wings; Arrabbiata Penne, Scallion Cheese Poppers; Chilli Garlic Prawns and Macaroni Bolognese. The top pick would be Chilli Garlic Prawns which were nice and spicy but not overpowering though and Chicken Buffalo Wings…it was simply delicious!

Choosing a seat on a flight in India often comes at an extra cost, especially for window, aisle, or front-row options. Over time, what was once a basic part of flying has turned into a revenue stream for airlines, leaving many passengers with limited free choices during web check-in.
