Starting Nov 16, 2025, IndiGo will operate direct flights between Bengaluru and Riyadh, expanding its network to Saudi Arabia.
The service will use Airbus A320 aircraft and aims to offer travellers affordable and convenient connectivity, the airline said. With this addition, Riyadh becomes the second Saudi city after Jeddah to have a nonstop connection with India’s technology hub.
IndiGo currently operates flights connecting India with four major cities in Saudi Arabia — Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah — as part of its steadily expanding Middle East network.
The launch of the Bengaluru–Riyadh route further strengthens the airline’s footprint in the region.
According to IndiGo, the move comes amid rising travel demand driven by business exchanges, trade relations, workforce mobility, and tourism between India and the Middle East.
“As Saudi Arabia’s capital and a key hub for trade and investment, Riyadh is significant for IndiGo to strengthen air connectivity with India. This new route from Bengaluru marks IndiGo’s fourth non-stop connection to Riyadh, after Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad,” Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales, IndiGo, said.
“It will enhance accessibility for business and workforce from the region while reinforcing IndiGo’s growing network across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. With this launch, we continue our focus on expanding international connectivity and making travel more convenient.”
Bookings are now open on IndiGo website, the IndiGo mobile app, and across authorized travel partners.

Air India has opened bookings for its first 'Easy Connect' flights under the Government of India's new hub-and-spoke model, allowing international travellers from smaller Indian cities to complete baggage drop and immigration formalities at their departure airport before connecting to overseas destinations through major hubs.
Air India and Riyadh Air have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as they look to strengthen links between their networks and offer travellers more convenient connections between India, Saudi Arabia and destinations beyond.
