IndiGo has introduced 'Cabs with IndiGo', a new airport transfer service that allows travellers to book rides to and from airports across Indian cities through the airline's platforms.
The service is available via the IndiGo website and mobile app and marks the latest addition to the airline's expanding range of travel-related offerings beyond flights, the airline said.
Integrated with IndiGo's BluChip loyalty programme, the service allows members to earn five IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent on airport cab bookings, enabling them to accumulate reward points through ground transportation as well.
IndiGo has gradually expanded its travel ecosystem beyond air travel, offering hotel bookings from a portfolio of more than seven lakh accommodation options as well as curated sightseeing experiences. The addition of airport transfers further extends these services.
Neetan Chopra, Chief Digital and Information Officer, IndiGo said, “At IndiGo, our focus extends beyond operating flights—we are committed to building a seamless, end-to-end travel ecosystem that our customers can rely on. The introduction of Cabs with IndiGo strengthens this vision by ensuring that every stage of the journey, from home to the airport and onward to the final destination, is smooth, dependable, and stress-free.”
“As we continue to enhance our suite of travel solutions, this service reinforces our promise of offering meaningful, hassle-free, and consistent mobility to our customers,” he added.
Powered by Mojoboxx, Cabs with IndiGo includes a number of features designed specifically for airport travel:
• Reserve cabs with just ₹49
• 100% confirmed rides with assured pick-up
• Pre-booked cabs with transparent pricing and zero surge fares
• Free cancellation until pick-up time
• 30 minutes of free wait time to accommodate travel uncertainties
According to IndiGo, the service has been developed to address common concerns faced by air travellers, including uncertain cab availability, surge pricing and last-minute cancellations. It offers guaranteed cab availability for airport departures and rides for arriving passengers, with bookings now open through the airline's digital platforms.
