Assamese singing sensation Zubeen Garg left the audience in Bangalore mesmerised with his powerful performance on Saturday.

The event was part of the Garuda Shopping Festival.

It was presented by Karma and Curry as a part of Alive India in Concert Season 10 at Garuda Mall in the southern city.

Powered by TVS Apache, and supported by Bangalore Mirror, Conrad Hotels, Kia Motors, and Tripcraft, the concert was a roaring success, leaving the audience spellbound with an unforgettable experience.

The evening began with Supratik Ghosh, the lead singer of Aurko and founder of Alive India, addressing the audience.

His passionate speech about Alive India’s “Roti, Kapda, Makaan, Rozgaar” initiative resonated deeply, highlighting the platform’s mission to uplift young musicians and provide them with opportunities to build sustainable careers.

Supratik also paid tribute to Zubeen Garg’s illustrious legacy, emphasizing his unparalleled contributions to music over three decades.

The audience was then treated to an interactive trivia session by Bangalore Mirror, where a few lucky winners took home exciting prizes for their knowledge about Bangalore and Zubeen Garg.

Inclusive Talent Shines Bright

The concert kicked off with a breathtaking performance by Nibedita Pradhan, the inclusive artist from Alive India Rockstars.

Nibedita’s soulful renditions of timeless Sufi classics like “Naino Ki Mat Maniyo” and “Teri Deewani” seamlessly transitioned into high-energy pop hits like “Crazy Kiya Re” and “Oo Antavva”.

Dubbed the “Chhota Packet Bada Dhamaka,” her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence set the tone for an electrifying evening.

Zubeen Garg and Zublee: A Powerhouse Duo

The excitement reached its peak when Zubeen Garg took the stage, joined by the mesmerizing Zublee, for a performance that will be etched in the hearts of fans forever.

The duo delivered a mix of Assamese gems and Bollywood favourites, including “Ya Ali,” “Jane Kya Chahe Mann,” “Dil Tu Hi Bata,” and a medley of folk-infused hits.

Zublee’s angelic voice elevated the experience, creating a symphony of musical perfection.

Fans showered the artists with gifts and uncontainable energy, singing along and cheering for every note.

A Heartfelt Cause

As part of Alive India’s Concert for a Cause initiative, the event celebrated not only music but also the empowerment of aspiring musicians.

Every ticket purchased contributed to the larger mission of nurturing and supporting young talent, making the audience part of a movement to bring meaningful change.

The Garuda Shopping Festival now carries the echoes of a night where music transcended boundaries, and Zubeen Garg’s magic left Bangalore asking for more.
