Jakarta: Indonesia has begun its quarantine-free entry programme for foreign visitors on March 7, advancing the date by a week.
Travellers from 23 nations including the U.S, U.K and Australia can avail a visa on arrival if they test covid negative prior to boarding and are entirely vaccinated, Bali Governor Wayan Koster said in a notice Friday.
Travellers entering the Southeast Asian are required to maintain a health insurance which covers covid19 related expenses.
On testing covid19 positive, tourists will be isolated in a hotel or a hospital till a follow-up swab on the third day.

Amid the ongoing Middle East conflict, global flight operations continue to face disruptions, with limited services and rising airfares affecting travellers across several regions.
Air India on Tuesday announced a phased increase in fuel surcharges across its domestic and international network, citing a sharp rise in aviation fuel prices triggered by the ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States in the Middle East.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Monday said Indian carriers are planning to operate around 50 flights between India and the Middle East region amid ongoing tensions in the Gulf that have significantly disrupted flight movements.
