Jordan Corporate evenings are huge success: Tourism Board

Amman, July 20 (NITN): Jordan Tourism Board in association with Cox and Kings held Corporate evenings at Bangalore and Mumbai recently.
The Bangalore event was held at Vivanta by Taj and the Mumbai one at Hotel Orchid.
The evening at both cities was kicked off with a welcome address by Sushila Shinde (GM, Client Relations, MICE), followed by a welcome address by Sami Harfoushi (Area Marketing Manager- JTB).
This was followed by a elaborate presentation highlighting the MIC offerings of Jordan by Ashit Taneja (Country Manager- JTB India) and further presentations by Movenpick Hotels and Air Arabia who partnered for the raffle vouchers.
The sales team from Cox and Kings, Moevenpick and Air Arabia were also present in both the cities to interact with the attendees about their offerings.
A detailed Jordan presentation was conducted to educate everyone on the various offerings of the country. JTB also shared the visa formalities, flight connections and other benefits/ USP’s of travelling to Jordan and the factors that would make their travel experience unique and what sets Jordan apart from other destinations.
A brief presentation by Air Arabia as a travel partner and Moevinpick Hotels as hotel partner was conducted to showcase the connections and hotels in Jordan.
Post the presentations a raffle draw was conducted which had air-tickets and accommodation packages and post the Raffle draw, the evening was open for networking session and dinner.
All the corporate were provided with a special kit which had the JTB branded bag, brochures, souvenir’s like dead sea salt, dead sea mud, calendar and a pen drive with the JTB presentation in it.
Talking on the success of both the events, Taneja said “The Indian MICE market presents enormous and positive opportunities for us. With an economy that is on the upswing and most companies wanting to explore exotic and unusual locations for their MICE groups -- Jordan offers it all! It is geared up towards the Indian sensibility thanks to its hospitality, food and superb hotels with unparalleled convention facilities."
