Since beginning operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has carried nearly 30 million passengers and become the fastest-growing airline in Indian aviation history. It was also the first airline in India to add more than 40 aircraft to its fleet within such a short period. The airline said these milestones reflect the growth of its business and its focus on customer feedback and changes in travel preferences.

Akasa Elevate has been introduced for the airline's growing base of repeat customers, with the programme offering rewards, recognition and travel-related benefits. As Akasa Air expands its domestic and international network and adds new offerings, the programme is also expected to be expanded with new features, partnerships and benefits.

What Akasa Elevate offers

The programme includes four membership tiers and offers the following features:

• Fast and easy tier progression: Members can qualify for higher tiers through either eligible flights or eligible spending, allowing them to progress based on how they travel.
• Earn Elevate Points on flights and ancillary products and services: Members can earn Elevate Points on eligible spending on flights and ancillary products and services. Additional rewards are available on eligible direct bookings, while ancillary purchases can also earn points.
• Unlimited priority services and exclusive benefits: Members receive travel-related benefits, including unlimited priority services and additional benefits as they move through the membership tiers.
• Value beyond points: Benefits cover seats, baggage, meals, priority services and travel flexibility, rather than being limited to points that can be redeemed later.
• Dedicated member care and personalised recognition: Premium members receive personalised recognition, dedicated member support and enhanced airport experiences.

Akasa Air is also offering a limited-period Retro Claim facility for flights taken before the launch of Akasa Elevate. Passengers who travelled with the airline from April 1, 2026 onwards can join the programme and claim Elevate Points retrospectively for those eligible journeys.
