Aditya Group to launch ‘School of Sports’
Kolkata, Dec 23 (IBNS): Aditya Group, one of Kolkata’s fastest growing business houses launched ‘Aditya School of Sports’ to nurture budding talent in Bengal.

The very first school under this initiative will be set up at Jessore Road, Dum Dum.

This is for the first time that a corporate house in Kolkata is coming forward to set up a full-fledged sports training facility in the city for boys and girls.

Present on the occasion were Anirban Aditya, Jhulan Goswami, Abdul Monayem among others

The group will initially conduct cricket and football training in the ‘School of Sports’ with the best of infrastructure and facilities and will soon be venturing out to other sports training options too such as Table Tennis, Chess and Karate.

Aditya Group has already joined hands with Atletico De Kolkata to provide world class football training for students under 14 in its school Aditya Academy Secondary campus in Barasat.ATK will also be instrumental in providing coaching in all football initiatives of the group.

Addressing a press conference held recently to announce the launch of this unique initiative Anirban Aditya, Chairman – Aditya Group said, “We are very happy to make this announcement and hope to be able to make a significant contribution in Sports soon. We are very serious about the development of sports in India, particularly in West Bengal and want to provide the best of training and exposure for our students in both the national and international sports scenario. We will also run a scholarship programme for exceptionally talented students in the ‘School of Sports’.”

Aditya Group will soon start scouting in all of Bengal to get talented cricketers who will be provided residential education and training in cricket free of cost.

“Aditya group has contributed in the field of education in the city for more than two decades and we hope to make our mark in the field of sports too. We began our journey in sports with ABBA launched earlier this year where we have nearly 150 students training regularly now. “said  Ankit Aditya, Vice – Chairman, Aditya Group.
