He received the award recently at a function in Vidya Mandir organized by the Lions Club of Kolkata.
The JIS Group also received the Best Educational Group Award for this year.

The Gurukul Awards, conceived and conceptualized by Founder & Chairman, Ashissh Jhunjhunwalla, was launched in 2007.
Gurukul Awards honour the bond between the teacher (Guru) and Shishya (student) and are given to those who have managed to keep this sacred tradition alive.

Air New Zealand has announced plans to host a live inflight concert, ‘SYNTHONY in the Sky’, on Dec 4 aboard Flight NZ1331 from Auckland to Sydney.
