Kolkata, Dec 13 (NITN): Max Fashion is set to hold the fourth edition of Max Design Awards, a platform to give budding fashion designers, viz. final year fashion design students, a chance to showcase their best work, the company said in a recent release.
According to the company, the contest has seen a huge success since its inception with a growing number of fashion design enthusiasts participating in the programme.
Last year, the competition attracted more than 300 entries from various design colleges across the country.
Juries for Max Design Awards 2017-18 include fashion designers Rina Dhaka, Ashish Soni and Rahul Mishra, along with Executive Director, Max Fashion Vasanth Kumar, Vice President Design, Max Fashion Kamakshi Kaul and Project Head Marc Robinson.
The theme for the Max Design Awards 2017-18 is "Craftivism", a concept encouraging the exploration of the power of combining art and activism to trigger conversations about social change.
Max, a fashion brand of Landmark Group, offers apparel, footwear and accessories through its stores and online presence.
Registration for the award programme is open. Last date for receiving online entries is January 8, 2018
