COVID-19: Philippines reports 156 new cases

Manila/Xinhua/UNI:  The Philippines on Saturday reported 156 new COVID-19 cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 8,928.

In a bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) said a total of 1,124 patients have recovered from the highly infectious disease after recording 40 new recoveries.

However, the DOH reported 24 new deaths, and the country's coronavirus death toll has reached 603.
