Zimbabwe's COVID-19 cases climb to 46

Harare/Xinhua/UNI:  Zimbabwe's COVID-19 cases have risen to 46 after two confirmed cases were reported in Harare on Sunday.

One is a male resident of Harare who returned from Britain and the other is a cross-border truck driver who initially tested positive in Zambia and again tested positive on re-testing in Harare, the Ministry of Health and Child Care said in an update on Monday.

Zambian media reported on Friday that six Zimbabwean cross-border truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 after crossing through the Chirundu border post into Zambia.

The number of people who have recovered in Zimbabwe is now 18 while deaths remain at four.

Zimbabwe has so far conducted 28,019 tests for COVID-19.
