Srinagar: The aviation regulator of India, Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Saturday gave approval to the night flight operations at the Srinagar International Airport.
Director, Airports Authority of India (AAI), Srinagar, Santosh Dhoke said that the regular night flights at the Srinagar Airport will start from March 28.
“The last daily flight scheduled from Srinagar is at 7:50 PM. We are hopeful that night flight operations will benefit the flyers,” Dhoke said.
It may be recollected that GoAir and IndiGo were among the airlines that operated successful test run of night flights last week at the Srinagar Airport

Qatar Airways has launched a twice-weekly service connecting Doha with Caracas in Venezuela and Bogotá in Colombia. With this launch, the airline becomes the first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela and the first airline to operate non-stop flights from the Middle East to both Caracas and Bogotá.
Indian airline Air India has unveiled a new collection of amenity kits and loungewear for guests travelling on its international flights.
Emirates will introduce its Airbus A350 aircraft on its daily Dubai–Mauritius route from November 1, 2026, replacing the Boeing 777 currently operating the service. The new aircraft will operate flights EK709 and EK710 between Dubai and Mauritius, the airline said.
