Kolkata: Airlines major SpiceJet has added visa service to its bouquet of offerings for international travellers who can now apply for visas through a fully online process without the hassle of physically applying or waiting at destination airports for visa on arrival.
The service is currently available for Thailand, UAE, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and select European countries. The service is available for all travellers irrespective of the airline they are travelling on.
More destinations will be added to the platform in the coming months.
Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer SpiceJet, said, “The addition of visa service strengthens our product portfolio for international travellers which also includes Forex, Remittances, Holidays, Activities, and Travel Assistance. Customer centricity is at the heart of everything we do at SpiceJet, we will continue working to expand the scope of our services and introduce more innovative products and services to enhance our customer’s travel experience.”
SpiceJet had in partnership with Thrillophilia enabled customers to seamlessly choose and book tours, activities and experiences from over 24,000 handpicked activities and experiences across 55+ countries while planning a trip. The airline is also offering forex services for all its international passengers in association with BookMyForex.com. Over 35 currencies including US Dollar, Pound, Euro, Thai Baht among others can be sold or bought conveniently using online payment modes such as NEFT, Netbanking, UPI and Debit card.
