Tourism Australia appoints Julie Earle-Levine North America PR Manager

Sydney, Apr 21 (NITN): Tourism Australia has recently announced that Julie Earle-Levine has joined Australia's national tourism marketing body to further develop its media relations efforts in the US and Canada, with the position based in New York for better access to some of the industry’s top media centres.
Earle-Levine comes with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent the past nine years writing travel, lifestyle and business articles for publications including The New York Times, New York magazine, The New York Post, Travel + Leisure and Yahoo! Travel.
She formerly wrote for the Financial Times newspaper, based in New York, and The Australian newspaper in Sydney.
Earle-Levine joins Tourism Australia as the organisation continues to collaborate with industry to achieve the goals outlined in Australia’s Tourism 2020 strategy.
“We are thrilled to have Julie on the team to further develop our reach in North America,” said Jane Whitehead, Vice President, Americas, Tourism Australia.
Earle-Levine will be Tourism Australia’s New York based-PR Manager, working with the rest of Tourism Australia’s team in Los Angeles.
“I’m passionate about Australia and look forward to working with writers and editors to help them discover and learn more about Australia’s diversity, and to keep them updated on all new news from Down Under,” said Earle-Levine.
