Rwanda reports first case of COVID-19

Kigali/Xinhua/UNI: Rwanda on Saturday registered its first case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the ministry of health said here.

The ministry in a statement issued here said the imported case is that of an Indian national who arrived in the country on March 8. He reported to a health facility on March 13 and the test results turned out positive.

The ministry said he is currently under treatment and in stable condition.
