Qatar Airways has launched a twice-weekly service connecting Doha with Caracas in Venezuela and Bogotá in Colombia. With this launch, the airline becomes the first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela and the first airline to operate non-stop flights from the Middle East to both Caracas and Bogotá.

The new service operates with Boeing 777-200LR aircraft and adds two destinations to the airline's network in the Americas.

Flight schedule and connections through Doha

The flights are scheduled to operate every Wednesday and Sunday, with connections through Hamad International Airport in Doha to several destinations across the airline's network.

The schedule is designed to provide onward connections to key markets, including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. Passengers can also connect to other destinations across Qatar Airways' network of more than 170 cities.

The flight schedule is as follows (all times are local):

  • Doha (DOH) to Bogotá (BOG): Flight QR783 departs at 7:35 am and arrives at 4:25 pm.
  • Bogotá (BOG) to Caracas (CCS): Flight QR783 departs at 5:55 pm and arrives at 9 pm.
  • Caracas (CCS) to Doha (DOH): Flight QR783 departs at 11:30 pm and arrives at 8:35 pm the following day.

Caracas and Bogotá are the 16th and 17th destinations in the Americas served by Qatar Airways. The airline began its South American operations in 2010 with its first flight to São Paulo, Brazil.

Qatar Airways has also expanded its partnership with LATAM to include LATAM Airlines Colombia, giving passengers access to more destinations within the country.
