New Delhi, Nov 23: Talentedge, leading EdTech firm that provides Live & Interactive digital learning for working professionals, has announced the appointment of Neeraj Sharma as their new Chief Growth Officer.
"Dr. Sharma will drive new initiative and will identify growth areas for Talentedge," said the company in a press communique.
Sharma comes with two decades of experience in the field of technology based education for working professionals. Earlier, he was working as the Head of Management Education Business at NIIT which included NIIT Imperia and Training.com.
Before assuming the role at NIIT, Sharma was the part of founding team which had set up DirecWay Global Education (now called Hughes Net Global Education) at Hughes and was responsible for creating and nurturing tie ups with various business schools in the country. In that sense he is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of existing technology based learning revolution, especially in the domain of executive education, the company said.
Speaking on the occasion of his appointment as Chief Growth Officer, Sharma said, “Talentedge is a great learning platform for working professionals. It acts as a catalyst in providing specialized courses from Indian & international premium education institutes. During the commencement of my role, I look forward to using my experience to bring in new business opportunities, growth initiatives and fruitful tie-ups.”
Adding to this, CEO & MD of Talentedge, Aditya Malik said, “We are fortunate to have a talent like Dr. Neeraj Sharma as Chief Growth Officer. His appointment would act as a stepping stone towards building new avenues and we are certain that his experience will add great value to our company.”
Sharma is a talented and seasoned professional who holds a Ph.D. in Management from IIT Delhi and M.Tech in Human Resource Management from IIT Kharagpur, the company said.
He has successfully authored over a dozen research papers, published in national and international journals in addition to authoring some chapters in reference books of management.
