Kolkata: Having transformed bodies of Bollywood celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham, Ranbir Singh, Arjun Kapoor and others, premium gym chain Kris Gethin Gyms (KGG) - part of Physique Global- formally launched its sprawling 11,600 sq feet KGG fitness centre at Salt Lake area in Kolkata on Saturday.
Roger Snipes, British fitness model, athlete, trainer and former Mr UK was present at the inaugural function.
The Kris Gethin Gyms (KGG) brand was co-founded by world’s top transformation coach Kris Gethin and Jag Chima, CEO, Physique Global in 2015. Kris, who is an epitome of health, fitness, and bodybuilding, has a phenomenal list of clientele and over 70 million followers globally.
“It is a great pleasure to bring our world class fitness centre to Kolkata. KG Gyms makes you look, feel and perform better besides helping lose weight. We plan to cover 15 to 20 cities in India in 2020. Our ambitious plan is to have 150 such centres across India over the next few years,” Mr Jag Chima, Chief Executive Officer, Physique Global and Co-Founder of the brand Kris Gethin Gyms, said at the launch function.
“Besides providing best body building amenities, techniques and ambiance we also bring new scientifically proven processes-based tailored services which use digital and accountability tools. Also, fitness centres in India is dominated by males. We create a comfortable ambiance for ladies at KGG and our gyms have the highest male-female ratio in India,” Jag Chima said.
Responding to a query on how to develop flat ab muscles, Roger Snipes, former Mr UK, shared few tips saying, “Diet is important. When you eat and what you eat. I focus on diet and try to eat more vegetables and less carbohydrates. Don’t over eat and don’t eat late. Our digestive system slows down after sun down and our body don’t burn energy. Food intakes may result in obesity.”
