The PPL is modelled on a five over a side match league where multiple teams will play off to claim the ultimate champion’s trophy – The Sardar Jodh Singh Trophy, named after the founder of JIS Group.
“The event has ushered in the humanitarian side of the game which is a pioneer effort to contribute towards the destitute and impoverished of Kolkata through cricket,” said Taranjit Singh, MD, JIS Group.
