A chat with author Nilanjana Roychowdhury about her book 10/3 Rash Behari Avenue, released by Power Publishers
Hi, Nilanjana! First of all, congratulations on the release of ''10/3 Rashbehari Avenue"! Is this is your debut as a writer?
Thank you so much. Yes this is my first book.
We see a house in the book's cover. How is it relevant to the story?
The house in the picture is in fact the protagonist of the story. What unravels around and inside it, is for the readers to find out.
Has time changed the concept of living in joint families? What is your take on it?
I personally feel that the joint family system got destroyed because of individual members and their love for freedom and greed. This theme forms the crux of the story.
What kind of reader base are you expecting for your book?
Basically, readers residing in metropolitan cities
Any plans for your next book?
