Union Tourism Minister assures MP PR all possible help for tourism development in state

New Delhi, Mar 16 (NITN): Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge), Culture (Independent Charge) and Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma met Madhya Pradesh Energy, Mining and Public Relations Minister Rajinder Shukla in New Delhi on Monday.
Rajinder Shukla requested Sharma to give priority to the Rs 49 cr Vindhya Mega Destination Project of Madhya Pradesh to help speed up development of tourist circuits and the development of historic Chirahula temple and the pond at Rewa.
Shukla also requested that the proposal for an amount of Rs 3.5 cr sent to the Ministry of Tourism in this regard may be sanctioned to begin with.
Sharma assured him that the proposal would be looked into and all assistance will be extended by the Ministry in this regard.
Shukla also briefed the Tourism and Culture Minister about other projects being taken up by the MP government to promote tourism.
