A special introductory fare to Colombo will mark this agreement beginning from June 17.
With the commencement of the new codeshare with Mihin Lanka, SriLankan Airlines continues to build seamless connectivity from their hub in Colombo across various regions in India, expanding on its codeshare and direct operations to and from 11 cities in India, creating new travel options for the business traveller and holidaymakers from Kolkata to access Sri Lanka delivering a boost for local tourism.
SriLankan Airlines currently operates 86 flights per week to India with direct daily frequencies to the 07 cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Trichy, Trivandrum and Kochi.
The two state owned airlines of Sri Lanka namely the national carrier SriLankan Airlines and Mihin Lanka’s latest codeshare agreement complements existing codeshares to other Indian routes such as Madurai, Varanasi and Gaya. The flights from Kolkata will be operated thrice weekly by Mihin Lanka every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The fare from Kolkata to Colombo is starting from 10, 530 INR (introductory offer).

IndiGo has expanded its codeshare agreement with KLM, the Netherlands’ national airline, providing its passengers with enhanced access to destinations across Europe and the United Kingdom through KLM’s network, the airline said.
