The two-day event starting on Feb 25 comprises of 12 events including sports competitions, art exhibitions, and performances held for the first time in Kashmir.
The event will feature the first Snowball championship in India, the first of its kind fire dance story by British and Russian artists, and the first display of 500 sky lanterns.
Other events include skiing, sledging, and snow sliding competitions with a total of Rs 40,000/- as prize money to be distributed among the winners.
Arguably one of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Pahalgam (Village of Shepherds) offers breathtaking views. One can just relax in one of the many hotels in Pahalgam, or trek on some of the many mountains. One can trek to Lidderwat, Kolohoi Glacier or to Sonmarg. Snow skiing is an attraction during the winter months (from Dec to late Feb).

Air New Zealand has announced plans to host a live inflight concert, ‘SYNTHONY in the Sky’, on Dec 4 aboard Flight NZ1331 from Auckland to Sydney.
Qatar Airways will move its New York operations to The New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in 2026. As part of the relocation, the airline plans to open a 15,000-square-foot lounge, its first dedicated facility in both New York City and the United States.
