Life becomes meaningful, interesting and successful when an individual overcomes every hurdle to serve the people of the nation.

As we all know, life throws several challenges at us, it tests our intellect and patience as well and whether you want to fight back or stay silent.

When the story of someone’s personal life has the strong ability to motivate others, it becomes a must for us to read, isn’t it?

An ideal example of such a motivating story is the ‘Life of Indra Pratap Tewari’, who was the Principal Information Officer (PIO) to the Government of India.

Tewari’s life was never undisturbed or uncomplicated because in order to reach the position of honour, he had to face multiple difficulties and those challenges started to block his path right from his childhood.

But he never stepped back for he was never afraid to take the right path.

Though he belonged to a high caste Brahmin family, I. P. Tewari maintained a close relationship with friends from other religions and castes as well.

The concept of discrimination and marginalisation was unknown to him and he could go to any extent to break this stereotype.

He was also a part of Indian Independence struggle and thus, in the foreword of the book, his son, Anand Vardhan, has described how his own childhood was beautiful as he could listen to these interesting and adventurous stories of the struggle for independence from his father.

Tiwari’s childhood and his later life as a PIO are filled with interesting stories, which have been articulated with precision by the author.

This autobiography would make the readers experience the different types of emotions, they may laugh at one time and feel empathetic towards the author at the other time; however, the readers will feel proud of such a courageous and humble man as they turn the pages of the book and experience the journey through the eyes of the narrator.
