New Delhi/NITN: As restrictions imposed to contain th COVID-19 pandemic are being gradually relaxed, the Indian hospitality industry is getting ready to implement hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, in a recent release said that over and above their regular focus on cleanliness and hygiene, they have adopted additional measures developed by global and local public health authorities to make their hygiene protocols even more rigorous.
As part of their 'Touchless Signature Sarovar Hospitality', guests will have to undergo thermal scanning at the entry gate and wearing a mask would be mandatory.
There will be self-parking options with designated slots.
All vehicles will be deeply sanitized post each journey.
Other key measures being adopted are deep cleaning and sanitization of guest room after every departure by staff who will be wearing all safety gear while servicing all high-traffic public areas like entryways and elevators will be sanitized frequently.
Sanitizers and masks will be made available at all points of entry to the lobby and in public areas on demand.
One of the most challenging areas in this pandemic situation is the laundry section.
According to the hotel, fresh linen from the laundry will be covered and directly taken to the floor trolley while guest laundry will be delivered at the doorstep outside the room.
To ensure contactless dining, there will be no water service from jug or glass bottle on tables while clearance of in-room dining will be from outside the room.
